Program Designed to Serve:Youth Offenders, ages 16 to 21.
Program Strategy: To respond to these significant needs,
CLC will develop an innovative, entrepreneurial, Youth Offender
Entry Services model, to address the needs of a minimum of 400
youth offenders. The model design includes a training and
employment track and a post-secondary education track.
The YOES program can help you with the following services:
- Tuition, books, and fees for college
- Basic Skills Remediation (Math and Reading)
- Technical skills training opportunities, leading to industry recognized credentials (certifications, etc.)
- Information and possible training for jobs in high growth/high demand industries such as manufacturing, skilled trades, construction industries, information technology, automotive, health care, and more.
- Additional training at a residential facility (Gulf Coast Trades Center)
- Support Services
- Job Placement, Job Retention, and Post Placement Services
- Post Secondary Educational Services

Entry Requirements:
- Youth Offenders, aged 16 to 21 (except violent and sex offenders),
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien,
- Complete all intake/enrollment documents, and
- Agree to meet attendance and other program requirements as outlined in the intake documents.
