Adults Return-to-Work Program

Program Designed to Serve: Adults with Disabilities

CLC, Inc. has designed and implemented a "Return-to-Work (RTW)" service model for persons who have experienced workplace injuries or health-related problems that have resulted in extended unemployment, underemployment, and/or entitlement dependency. The PWI provides a client-centered service delivery system that coordinates resources from public and private partners and results in sustainable employment in high quality jobs.

The Purpose of the PWI program is to increase and enhance job and career advancement opportunities for persons with disabilities in the competitive labor market by more effectively engaging consumers in North Central Texas with the region's public and private workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, and workers' compensation communities.

Services Provided: PWI provides job readiness assessment, employability skills training, career exploration, resume development, interviewing skills, mentoring, job search, job development, job placement and follow-up to assist unemployment individuals with significant disabilities in securing, maintaining, and advancing in competitive employment.

Geographic Area Served: PWI serves the Dallas, Denton, Ellis, and Rockwall Counties in North Central Texas (Dallas County Workforce Development Area and portions of the North Central Texas Workforce Development Area).
