Program Designed to Serve:Youth ages 16-21, with barriers to education and/or employment.

Providing youth with the skills, tools and knowledge necessary to successfully complete their education and/or enter into the workforce.

The CYC is a WIA, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County funded program designed to assist youth in building the skills necessary to obtain a high school diploma or GED, a college degree, and/or employment.

Mission: to provide youth with education, training, and employment services that better prepare them for rewarding careers in high growth / high demand occupations.

The Community Youth Collaborative (CYC) is designed to assist both, out-of-school and in-school youth.

Definitions:
Out-of-School Youth
Youth who have dropped out of school
Youth who have already obtained a high school diploma or GED

In-School Youth
Youth currently enrolled in traditional or non-traditional schooling

Entry Requirements:

1. Youth 16-21 years old,
2. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien,
3. Lives in Tarrant County,
4. Low Income,
5. Complete all certification/enrollment documents,
6. Agree to meet attendance and other program requirements as outlined in the certification documents.
